Same. Get a morning routine going. I read The Miracle Morning on a recommendation of a friend, and now I wake up at 430am to start my routine then go straight into my side hustle before "showing up" for work @ 10. Think about it like this: The best hours of your day are the ones in the morning when your head is clear and you're all stocked up on willpower. Those should be yours. The leftovers should be for whoever you're working for. Not the other way around. The most difficult part for me has been making sure I'm in bed by 9pm.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but do you think it's worth worrying about the timing of coffee/breakfast/exercise? Do you find you're more focused when fasted, or after you've had something to eat? I'd love to try this routine, but I really don't know what it feels like to be "stocked up on willpower" in the mornings.

Yes, the overall routine does matter. Different routines work for different people, but my personal anecdote is that I get up, exercise, eat breakfast, then spend an hour on my projects.

My girlfriend (Spanish teacher) and I are in full lockdown atm (Colombia), so we started a blog project: https://triplechili.com. The idea is to find interesting content that's only available in English, and translate it to make it available in Spanish, while at the same time providing some tools for language learners. This came out of my own efforts to find content in both languages to help me learn Spanish. So we display posts in both languages and if you click on a sentence it highlights the same sentence in the other language. Right now it's just the boilerplate next.js + strapi (headless cms) that I found, but we're in the process of coming up with a proper design.

Not out yet, but Filecoin: https://filecoin.io/. It's like Ethereum but with file storage capabilities + built-in bridges to other cryptocurrencies.

Filecoin doesn't have any smart contracts as far as I'm aware, so it's limited to use as a decentralized storage network. I believe it would be possible to build something very similar to Filecoin on the Ethereum platform. Storj (https://storj.io/) may be trying to do that.

Edit: Filecoin does mention smart contracts in its white paper.

Working on a location-based bulletin boarding system using React Native. Kinda like a mashup of Craigslist and Tinder. Started as a project to keep my brain from atrophying while I do some (long term) traveling, and a resume-builder for when I decide to eventually go back to work, but I'm gonna see where it goes. I'm calling it http://www.puffboard.com
