I find the claim "No one noticed" a bit hyperbolic. It's more like "and my change was easily tolerated". I certainly notice these things and I'll pay a premium for software that feels "snappy" any looks good.
Yeah, the title says "no one noticed" while the article says "my kid didn't notice" + no users complained. Which makes sense because this is an app that parents are making their kids use. The parents don't use the app and the kids have to. Who is going to complain that the interface changed?
